Master's in Information Technology Degree Concentrations

Concentrations allow you to personalize your education by focusing your electives on an area of study that best fits your desired IT career path. We offer eight concentrations aligned to current industry demands:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies

    Explore cloud computing, architecting, and AWS core services. Examine the fundamentals of AWS infrastructure, service options, and best practices in the AWS Cloud.

  • Blockchain technologies and apps

    Study essential blockchain and smart contract technologies that serve as the foundation for Web 3.0, the next generation of internet, and gain the specialized skills you need to develop decentralized applications (dApps).

  • Critical infrastructure security

    Study the implementation of protective procedures such as firewalls, network detection and response (NDR), and endpoint detection and response (EDR), and learn how to defend critical infrastructure including systems, networks, and assets.

  • Cybersecurity

    Explore fundamentals such as viruses, worms, and other malicious software, as well as more high-level aspects of IT security such as network defense, ethical hacking, and computer forensics.

Tuition and Time Savings on a Doctorate Law Degree

Purdue Global alumni are eligible for a 20% tuition reduction on Concord programs. Tuition savings calculated as 15 credit hours x reduced per credit tuition rate of $412 = $6,180. Savings will vary based on the courses completed in the student’s master’s degree program. Credits apply toward open elective and/or law and technology electives in the EJD program.

Time savings based on a student who applies 15 credit hours toward the 3-year EJD program; remaining 57 credits can be completed in 2 years and 4 months of study.
