Application FAQs

  • What should I expect when applying?

The first step in your journey is to create an account, and you do that as soon as you click “Apply Now.” From there, you’ll go through some essential onboarding questions and then land on “My Journey,” a page that guides you through the relevant application sections.

You can complete those sections in any order, so fill out all the details you have available. Once you’ve completed the program, prior education, and funding sections, you’ll be able to review, sign, and submit your enrollment agreement.

If you have questions along the way, click the “Live Chat” button for guidance.

  • What happens after I sign and submit my enrollment agreement?

Right away, you’ll see that you can upload documents. Meanwhile, an Admissions Advisor will review your enrollment agreement and contact you with specific next steps to ensure you’re well-prepared for your academic experience with Purdue Global.

  • Can I start my application now and come back later? How long does it take to apply?

Yes. The application takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, but work at a pace that suits you best. Once you create an account, you can come back and finish your application at any time.

  • What documents are required to apply?

There are no documents required to submit your application. The documents you will need to provide thereafter will depend on whether you want to transfer credit, to which program you are applying, and what funding options you select.

  • How can I transfer credits to Purdue Global?

Purdue Global accepts eligible transfer credits from regionally and nationally accredited colleges and universities that are applicable to your specific program.

While completing your application, you'll have an opportunity to indicate whether you have prior college or college-equivalent credits. Once you submit your application, you’ll need to provide transcripts so that you receive as much credit as possible for your past coursework.

Please see the University Catalog for the Prior Learning policy.

  • Where can I learn more about financial aid?

Get all the details about filling out the FAFSA, Pell Grants, Title IV loans, eligibility and more. Visit our financial aid FAQs for more information.

  • I’m not 18 yet. Can I still enroll?

If you are at least 16 years of age and meet all other criteria, you may seek the approval of the dean of the school you wish to enter. Both you and your parent/guardian will be required to sign your enrollment agreement.
