Health and wellness professionals provide support, encouragement, and education to people looking to lead healthier lives and prevent illness or injury. In this program, you will study various approaches to health and wellness in addition to the concepts, values, and applications of this exciting field of health science.
The health and wellness degree online curriculum is focused on preparing you to:
- Evaluate scientific literature and research in nutrition, exercise science, health psychology, stress management, and complementary and alternative medicine.
- Use your knowledge to educate individuals and communities.
- Develop the administrative, ethical, and professional skills for leadership positions throughout the health care field.
Accelerated Master’s Degree Options
You can work toward a Purdue Global master’s degree in health care administration, health informatics, health information management, public health, or health education while you earn your bachelor’s degree. The program culminates with an original capstone project that demonstrates your ability to apply your health and wellness knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios.
